- Kickapoo Creek
Outfitters is located in West Central Texas
between San Angelo and Abilene. Owner Stan
Daulong, Jr. has 1000 acres of his family
ranch (XL Ranch) under a game management and
supplemental feeding program.
- XL Ranch is a
low-fence fair chase ranch and is located in
Coke county along the Kickapoo Creek and the
Colorado River. XL Ranch was founded in
1889 by Stan Daulong Jr's. great-great
grandfather J.B. McCutchen. This 7000 acre
ranch is still retained today by the
McCutchen family.
- Kickapoo Creek
Outfitters and XL Ranch have available an
1100 sq. ft. lodge with central heat and
air, bathroom, shower, kitchen, beds and
linens provided, and the lodge accommodates
up to 8 guests. Hunting is done from blinds
over feeders and transportation is provided
from the lodge to the blinds. Transportation
is also provided to and from San Angelo and
Abilene airports if needed.

Outfitters has acquired several thousand
acres of other private ranches to help
expand and enhance it's hunting operation.
All of the Texas ranches offer open range
fair chase hunting, and they all have some
form of game management program established.
West Texas ranches offer a wide variety of
wildlife. They offer: Whitetail Deer, Rio
Grande Turkey, Quail, Dove, Hog, Varmints,
and fishing. Also available in the Midwest
and in Canada: Moose, Mule Deer, Antelope,
Black Bear, Alligator, and exotics. Thank
